The publication “Ukrainian Art Studies: Materials, Research, Reviews” is a peer-reviewed, open-access professional annual, which publishes scientific articles, archival materials, professional reviews, and reviews of art events.
The purpose of the journal is a comprehensive conceptual coverage of Ukrainian art culture in various components of its structure, completeness of historical scope, and cross-cultural connections; issues of world art culture and art history scientific thought; theoretical, methodological, scientific, and other problems of art history and cultural studies. The publication examines individual artistic phenomena, historical and cultural processes, issues of interaction between different types of art in the semiological context of culture, achievements and current contemporary problems of Ukrainian and world culturology and art history, archival sources of folk and professional culture, and publishes interdisciplinary research.
The dissemination of reliable scientific information among the cultural community of Ukraine and foreign countries will contribute to its awareness of the spiritual achievements of our people.
The publication is intended for scientists, teachers, students of art educational institutions, popularizers of Ukrainian artistic culture and a wide range of cultural community.
